One of the things I will treasure the most is the friendship we built (with Leah, Tracy, Jamila, Regine, Clein and Jeline). I dunno but I think 12-12-12 is really just perfect for us. Accidentally we went to Intramuros just to unwind and partey? LOLOL
First Stop: In Front of Fort Santiago
Admission fee: 50 Pesos (I guess, for students). Oh c'mon, the place is great so why save ur money from this? Some of my friends planned not to go in but instead, walk around Intramuros. We planned walk around the Intramuros and if we get tired, that's the time we'll get inside For Santiago (unfortunately, we didn't made it LOL)
Second Stop: Manila Cathedral & Palacio del Gobernador
The cathedral is really vintage and I love how it looks like, the details, statue and wall. Also the building of Palacio del Gobernador is beautiful. There's one story we experienced here. One of my friends, Jeline, took our photo and a man inside the van opened his window then told her "Ako na lang kukuha" LOL. she laughed. (maybe he found pity on us shifting just to take shots hehehe)
Third Stop: The Statue
(sorry I don't know what statue is this, hehehe)
In taking these photos, we have to take shifting in doing the shot. Thank God this "Old-fashioned" security guard helped us get our picture (all seven of us - that is the very last picture in the column). Sitting there is really awesome while chatting with each other (we also ate our biscuits there). There is really fun thing we did during our stay there. There is this group of Americans trying to get their picture in front of us. The one taking their picture is facing backwards to us (so u have an idea that the Americans are facing us). What we did was we tried to make faces, making them laugh and trying to say that "hey. smile!" (doing a peace sign in fingers - the Korean thingy pose of the finger). Actually, they laughed. And one of them got the camera from the girl who took their photo and what did he do? He took our photo (Some of us are not lookin at the camera). Until now, I don't have any idea how we look in their picture. LOL
Third Stop (cont...): Bureau of Treasury
I don't know if that's the exact name but that's what all I can remember. To tell you, this building strike me. It's really attractive, the design the color combination. It's classy. I just remembered the restaurant I built in "Restaurant City (fb game)"
Fourth Stop: Intramuros' Walls
Walking on Intramuros walls is amazing. I even shouted "Hey we're on Wall of China" hehehe. The place is great and walking with my friends makes it special. While walking, we saw beautiful places inside Intramuros and saw different schools (famous schools). The ruins of walls makes the environment oldie. I can't even imagine that this place was once attacked by foreign intruders. The canons are heavy that I can't even imagine how they used them. Well, good thing I didn't live in the past. Actually, these walls so long let my feet almost killed me.
Fifth Stop: The Edge of the Wall
I like the edge of this wall, the fresh air and the scenery. The only I hate about it is the height. I have fear in heights that's why, but this place is good. It's windy. One of my friends, Tracy, also got the same fear as mine. Unfortunately she didn't want to conquer it. I too didn't conquer it, I just tried to climbed up the edge with my other friends.
Sixth Stop: The Creepy Building
There is nothing special with this building only it's creepiness and the red paint splatters in front of it (that looks like blood).
The Pizza Hut Dinner
After laugh out loud walks and travels inside the Intramuros, all of us decided to take our dinner in SM Manila's Pizza Hut before traveling back to our home.
I really had so much fun with my friends. The laughs we did starting from school, inside the LRT and all the way to Intramuros and goin back to LRT. This moment is unforgetable. Hope this is not the last outie.. :)
